Welcome back to A Sea Turtle Picture A Day. Today we are heading back down to the British Virgin Islands. This picture is of a Leatherback Sea Turtle Hatchling that is just about to get swept out into the ocean. My only hope is that this hatchling will return to this beach in 13-15 years and lay her own nests.
This picture was taken with a Nikon D100 camera with a 60 mm lens
