A Sea Turtle Picture A day # 140

Welcome back to A Sea Turtle Picture A Day. Today we are heading back to the Big Island of Hawaii. I am currently in Hawaii filming Green turtle behaviour underwater at a Turtle cleaning station. In the afternoons after filming I like to walk the lava flows that run along the sea shore and look for critters and turtles in the tide pools.
I came upon this particular tide pool and there were 3 young Green Sea Turtles that had become trapped in it.They stayed here all afternoon until the tide came in then they swam out onto the reef. They were using the tide poll like a hot tub.
