Welcome back to A Sea Turtle Picture A Day.Todays picture is of a Green Sea Turtle ( Chelonia mydas). This is a close up of a Sea Turtles face. This turtle was laying out on the beach basking and I really was intrigued with the look of its face.I was thinking to myself that this Sea Turtle has evolved for 150 million years to be able to adapt to its life in the ocean.I hope you like this picture.
