Welcome back to A Sea Turtle Picture A Day. Today we are heading underwater over to Hawaii. This is a picture of a Green Sea Turtle ( Chelonia mydas) as it rests under a ledge. This turtle was not bothered by me being near it underwater in fact it swam up to the surface for a breath and then come back down and returned to the same spot closed its eyes and seemed to fall asleep.
This picture was taken with a Nikon D-100 camera with a 12-24 mm lens in a Light and Motion housing
